About this opportunity
We are now looking for our next VP Corporate Risk Management to join our corporate finance team.
The position is part of the Corporate Finance team and reports to the CFO. As Getinge is delivering life-saving products with a significant share of the global market in many cases, it is of utmost importance we keep our operations up and running. You will have a cross functional role with strong ownership and several internal and external important stakeholders.
In this role, your have the responsibility and ownership of all related risk management questions. You will continuously maintain and develop the insurance program for the Group. This includes General & Products Liability, Property damage and business interruption, ( “PDBI“), Cyber, Cargo and Erectors’ All Risk, Employment practices liability, Crime, Business travel and more. You will be involved in M&A transactions to lead the Risk Management work-stream and have the main relationship with Getinge’s insurance broker.
Daily tasks will include
- Own and develop the Getinge Loss Prevention Standard.
- Drive the risk management dialogue with all production sites together representatives from the PDBI carrier.
- Drive the Business Continuity Agenda from Group level towards all major production sites.
- Make sure the Group has an up to date and adequate insurance coverage in relation to the underlying exposure which may develop over time.
- Manage the risk section in annual and interim reports.
- This position is preferrable based in Gothenburg, Getinge or Stockholm, and includes international/regional travelling. The position is eligible for a hybrid setup.
You will bring
To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:
- Degree in finance, engineering or law
- Several years in a role within risk management
- Experience from a large matrix organization
- Used to work proactively and take strategic ownership on risk management
- Strong stakeholder management
- Fluency in Swedish and English, orally and written
