As our first Treasury specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the short-term cash flow and liquidity, contributing to the financial strength of our solar projects and our mission to add more solar to the grid!

Your impact

As a Treasury specialist, your key mission will be to supervise and manage our liquidity structure to support the short-term cash flow. This includes monitoring daily cash flow, encompassing collections, disbursements, and cash position. You’ll also oversee short-term cash requirements to ensure that there are adequate funds available to meet operational needs.

You will work closely with our finance team (8 people, working from our offices in Madrid and Stockholm) as well as other team members in our remote-first team (75 employees). In addition, you will correspond with banks and other parties to establish new payment channels and assist with KYC and other compliance procedures.

KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily cash flow monitoring, encompassing collections, disbursements, and cash position
• Overseeing short-term cash requirements to ensure operational needs are met
• Corresponding with banks and other parties to establish new payment channels, as well as assisting in KYC and compliance procedures
• Managing various bank accounts and maintaining accurate bank and payment details
• Processing payments through different banking systems, ensuring payments adhere to approved limits
• Addressing unpaid transactions and payment requests
• Handling under/overpayments and payment queries.
• Verifying payment information and setting up new payment details for clients and bank accounts
• Managing currency conversions for payments in different currencies
• Maintaining complete and accurate records of treasury transactions
• Providing essential administrative support to the team

We’re looking for you

To be a good fit for this role, we believe that you are a structured and organized person who loves to work with numbers and cash. You thrive in a role where you have the mandate and trust to take true ownership of your deliveries and enjoy working in an international setting with colleagues from all over the world.

You might be a Treasury specialist/analyst/manager today, or you’re working in a more broad finance role with some exposure to treasury. What matters the most to us is your attitude and motivation to keep growing your expertise in this area!

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or a similar field
• At least three years of relevant work experience from a Finance/Treasury department at an international company
• Solid skills in the MS Office package, especially Excel
• Ability to work from Sweden (either remote, hybrid-remote or fully onsite)

Fluency in English. Swedish language is meritorious but not a requirement
