You'll also be responsible for empowering our service network, customers, and partner network with top-notch technical support and product training. Join us and be the drivingforce behind expertise worldwide!The preferred location of this position is Sweden, Poland or any MacGregor GSD (GlobalServices Division) location in Europe.Main tasks and responsibilitiesDesign and develop training courses and materials for the responsible product(s) by different technical levelsPlan and conduct training to internal and external customers globally (classroom,online, on equipment)Assist/Develop and implement modern and advanced training tools for training bemore effectiveReview and constantly improve training content, materials and methodsExecute certification processes of service personnel according to OPMRegister and maintain technical competence data of service engineers properly andcorrectly in the systemDevelop and train local frontline trainers related to responsible product line, asneeded.What you’ll need to succeedEducationAcademic degree in the fields of engineering on Bachelor level or equivalent.ExperienceMinimum five years in shipbuilding or marine industry or relevant business/productexperienceTechnical background or knowledge of responsible MacGregor productsExperience in a technical / commercial role in service environment is preferredExperience in field service jobs is an advantage.CompetenciesGood technical skills and product knowledge of the responsible product lineUnderstanding of technical and operational use of the marine & offshore equipmentKnowledge of classification societies requirements, service process and documentationstandardsPedagogical skills and ability to transfer know-how/experience (technicalwriting/presentation) will be an assetProficient in creating and refining training courses and materials, skilled in planning,coordinating, and conducting courses, with proven experience in instruction.As our new colleague, you also are capable of thriving independently in a multitasking environment while seamlessly integrating into a team setting, showcasing strong analytical prowess, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
