Role Overview:
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for clients in the food and beverage manufacturing sector across the Skåne region. Your role will involve offering technical expertise on our product range, driving product sales, upselling existing accounts, and identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will work remotely but will visit client sites 2-3 times per week, providing hands-on support and fostering strong, long-lasting relationships. A company car is provided to facilitate your travel, and you will have access to an enhanced benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and a quarterly bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their go-to technical expert on our product range
- Technical Support and Expertise: Offer in-depth product knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to meet client requirements and enhance customer satisfaction
- Sales and Account Expansion: Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services to existing clients, addressing customer needs and maximizing revenue potential
- New Business Development: Research, target, and engage potential new clients in the food and beverage manufacturing sector, particularly focusing on expanding market presence within the Skåne region
- Product Promotion: Present new and existing products to clients, demonstrating how our solutions can help achieve operational goals within food and beverage production environments
- Time Management and Planning: Manage your own schedule to optimize client site visits, remote work, and sales strategy development, ensuring a balanced and productive approach to responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, leveraging insights to position our products strategically and effectively
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and sales activities, updating CRM systems, and providing regular progress reports to management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a technical sales or account management role, ideally within food and beverage manufacturing or a related field
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of food and beverage manufacturing processes, including familiarity with equipment, production challenges, and regulatory standards
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English, with an ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely
- Self-Motivation and Independence: Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision, self-managing workload, and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and trust with clients, demonstrating a customer-first mindset and commitment to long-term partnership
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related field preferred
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license, as the role requires regular travel within Skåne
