As the Team Leader Sales Operations your role will be to drive and support the daily work and processes in the local ISE/OH Team and act as the “right hand” of the Sales & Operations Manager Nordic. 
The Inside Sales Engineer part of the role assists customers by identifying the best solutions for their applications, offers and sells complete product and services solutions, provides commercial and technical support to customers, always aiming to provide the highest standards of customer service. All in close cooperation with peers, Outside Sales, Service Engineers, Field Specialist, Product Managers and Business Managers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Always adhere to company’s and customer HSEQ standards
  • Answer technical queries from customers by mail, phone or chat 
  • Qualify customer requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers’ application and operational needs
  • Prepare customer quotations that are on time, technically accurate, commercially verified, offering the best all-round solution
  • Follow-up on quotations with customers as agreed with Outside Sales
  • Utilize best practices and optimal use of Customer Support Center
  • Perform work according to internal and external laws and procedures
  • Participate in projects as an associated part of the Solutions group/project-team
  • Negotiate sales orders within agreed delegation of authority
  • Ensure purchase orders are commercially complete and accurate before processing for order entry when applicable
  • Provide advice on technical solutions to customers and colleagues
  • Assist in external meetings held by outside sales
  • Communicate with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, etc.
  • Provide after-sales service to customers
  • Incorporate new products in knowledge portfolio when released and actively sell in these towards customers
  • Adhere to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.

    • Team Lead part

  • Ensure that processes and tools are used properly in the ISE/OH Team, with support from Sales Operations manager
  • Process and maintain the daily work and load balance to optimize the performance in the ISE/OH Team
  • Plan and conduct reconciliation meetings regarding workload and other appropriate information for the ISE/OH Team
  • Be the main contact for ISE and OH in daily activities
  • Have direct personnel responsibility including performance reviews 
  • Organize groups according to plans coordinated with and accepted by Sales Operational Manager.

    • For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field is preferred 
  • Minimum of two years’ relevant work experience in the process industry
  • Fluent in one Nordic and English language skills (verbal, reading and writing)
