Your role

In your role as a team leader, you will both lead and be part of the entire development process from concept design to creation of the final product. This includes design, product improvement, life cycle management and communicating with sub-contractors. Your daily work consists of leading a team; provide guidance and direction, planning, financial monitoring and resource planning.

You will be part of a reliable and helpful hardware department from varying backgrounds with an open and inclusive work culture.

Your profile

You have a Bachelor Degree, Master Degree or equivalent with mechanical engineering, electronics and/or technical design. It is preferred that you have at least 2 years of experience in a leading position. Experience in electromechanical design is a merit since many of our products include electronics. We work in cross-functional teams with systems, electronics and structural analysis engineers. Your personality and drive is highly valued!

We believe that you are an ambitious and creative person who wants to work in a social team, and to take initiatives and responsibility. Since we often collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines, we recognize good communication skills as a major success factor.

As we work in an international environment, it is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish and English, both oral and written.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be part of

You will be part of the Hardware Engineering department that develops and designs the hardware for signals intelligence and electronic warfare systems with the aim of protecting the next generation of platforms eg. GlobalEye and Gripen.

The position is based in Järfälla, Stockholm and you will have the flexibility to work from home if your assignment and manager agrees with it.
