As a Strategic Business Controller specializing in Supply Chain Optimization at Go North, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and improving the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficient inventory management, and implementing strategies to improve cost and cash flow efficiency.
In this position you will GO and:
Inventory Management: Develop and support processes to manage and optimize inventory levels across our portfolio of brands to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs and inventory levels.
Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain processes for demand forecasting to predict inventory requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
Optimize Working Capital: Conduct an analysis, report findings, and provide suggestions for optimizing working capital which ultimately improve cash flow forecasting.
Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving initiatives, including sourcing strategies, transportation and storage optimization, and packaging efficiencies, to improve supply chain profitability.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making for senior management within the following areas:
Inventory levels & inventory turnover
Demand & supply planning
FBA fee optimization
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
Collaboration and Project management: Collaborate closely with, and lead projects towards, various functions, including Finance, Supply chain, Brand management, and Marketing, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
GO to your profile:
Minimum 3 years of experience working with supply chain management or in a related role. Big plus if you have worked within the e-commerce or Amazon aggregator industries;
Extensive experience in supply chain analytics and process improvement;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
Experience working with supply chain software and tools;
Excellent project management, communication and negotiation skills;
Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality;
Ability to manage own work and take initiative for improvements;
Comfortable working in a high-paced, rapidly evolving environment;
This is a permanent position in our Finance department, reporting directly to our Director of Business Controlling. You will also be working closely with our Chief Supply Chain Officer along with the Supply Chain department. The role is based in our headquarters in Gothenburg, in the thriving area of Linné/Järntorget/Haga, which is well connected with public transport and surrounded by great places to eat and socialize.
