We are now looking for a SQL developer to join our SysOps team, that is dedicated to the maintenance, development, and support of two ledger systems acquired from a vendor. We work collaboratively to ensure these systems meet our organizational needs, providing reliable financial tracking and reporting capabilities.

As a SQL developer you will be developing our SQL database that is the foundation for our Pay Later product.

What you’ll do:

• Optimize and fine-tune existing SQL queries to enhance performance and scalability.
• Develop new SQL queries, scripts, and processes to support business requirements and initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
• Extract and analyze data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
• Document system configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure continuity and facilitate knowledge transfer.

We believe you:

• Have been developing large scale database systems in SQL
• If you have been developing business systems, this will be an advantage
• Experience from working in a Windows environment, for example Powershell
