We’re looking for a business-minded, organized and experienced Sourcing professional to join us in Stockholm.
Do you have experience in purchase-to-pay (P2P) and are you eager to grow with us? Then this might be your next great career move. Within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, we deliver advanced products and solutions for the mining and construction industries, serving customers across all continents and our operations and organizations are spread around the globe. With us you get to be on a stimulating journey accompanied by genuinely competent colleagues. Come join us!
In this position, you manage and coordinate all procurement activities from supplier selection and creation of contracts to supplier onboarding and purchase-to-pay. You develop and maintain guidelines for how to make purchases to follow existing policies, category strategies and sourcing plans, and support and measure the use of, and compliance with, contracts and maintaining content management in systems. To establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers is an important part of your job to keep staying two steps ahead. You manage identified risk and lead transformative change efforts challenging the status quo. You lead improvement works and of specific importance is to actively support implementation of SAP S/4Hana and SAP Ariba as a purchasing system for common functions.
The location of the role is Stockholm, and we offer the opportunity to work remotely part time.
When it comes to background, we expect you to hold a relevant degree in economics, IT or Business Administration and most likely you have some years of experience in a similar position. Our biggest spend is in the purchase of services, so therefore, we’ll scout for your skill levels in P2P, negotiation and your ability to build trustful relationships. As we work in an international setting, beside fluent skills in Swedish, you also communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing.
We place great value on your business-minded and ambitious ways of working as you’re an analytical, result-driven and self-motivated decision-maker. Your agile approach makes it easy for you to adapt to the ever-changing missions of the job, and you genuinely enjoy working both strategically, tactically and operationally, as this role includes a piece of it all. For example, one day, you might support procurement and the next day, you’re digging into the transactions. In addition, you’re versatile, flexible, proactive and organized – capable of multitasking and taking ownership of your responsibilities. You understand the importance of stakeholder management and easily build trust to generate successful relations to enable fast and accurate execution together with stakeholders.
Our role is clear – through every action, every day, we make the shift and advance the world through engineering. We believe in an inclusive, equal and open-minded culture, and we nurture our diversities to form a solid foundation for achieving great results.
