We will modernize Volvo’s core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products.

This is how you could make an impact

Your mission is to turn the IoT Foundational Product roadmap into working deliverables in your team’s backlog, aligned with the overall strategy and product vision. You will be member of the stable team responsible for managing the team backlog. Your role will be an important contributor to the transformation of the IT landscape in Volvo Group. You will enable the shift to a modern and agile delivery organization.
The IoT Foundational Product will support our users and development teams to more quickly and easily develop IoT solutions. The technology we are using today are based upon the PTC platform Thingworx as well as Azure IoT.

These are the main expectations on you:

• Clarify team purpose, strategy and business priorities.
• Manage the team backlog, make sure it is in order and ensure that the backlog is visible, transparent, and understood.
• Secure that the product is developed and maintain in compliance within given architecture, security guidelines, and product strategy until decommissioning
• Manage dependencies and collaborate with other teams and business partners, as needed.
• Secure that SLAs are established and fulfilled for any solutions managed by the team
• Manage support of products and solutions in team scope
• Secure that team regularly collects feedback on implemented work
• Contribute on product roadmap and capacity planning.
• Responsible for team and culture development to secure proper capacity and capability for its delivery.

Who are you?

We believe you would like to take your career to the next level and work within fantastic global team that is working cross functional throughout the Volvo Group. You are someone that likes to communicate and contribute with new ideas and suggest improvements. You like to have responsibility, make things happen, have the E2E drive and understand the value creation within the IoT technology domain.
To be successful in this position we believe you have a relevant university degree (Computer Science, Information Technology etc.) or equivalent. In your previous jobs you have had some years of experience within IT Solution Management (Product Owner, Solution Leader, Scrum master…) or you have worked as Project Manager in the IT domain. Furthermore, it is a plus if you have proven experiences within the manufacturing domain, have knowledge about IoT (Thingworx, Azure IoT or similar platform) and it is a plus if you have experiences with agile principles.
