The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Solution Consultant to join our team in EMEA. The ideal candidate is a lifelong learner who is self-motivated to gain new skills and understand new technology, including comfort with technical concepts and ability to become a subject matter expert with new technology applications. Whether you fulfill some, or all of these requirements, we want to hear from you if you believe your background and experience might be a fit!

What You’ll Do

  • Perform prospect and customer presentations and demonstrate the Planview solution(s): aligning the Planview value proposition with the key business issues of the prospect/customer and delivering configured product demonstrations
  • Become the trusted advisor for the prospect during the Sales Cycle through continuous conversations and correspondence with them to reinforce and sell the value of the Planview solution(s).
  • Prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and other prospect inquiries
  • Participate in webinars, trade shows, and other marketing activities to promote awareness of Planview and our solutions
  • Communicate customer’s business requirements to members of the implementation team after completion of the sale to ensure a smooth transition from presales to post-sales
  • Work with colleagues to maintain and enhance demonstration systems and best practices

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone with a Sales mindset, who is passionate to collaborate in a team-selling environment, is driven and comfortable working from home. You have…

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree
  • A few years experience as a Solution Consultant, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer or consulting experience with a strong desire to move into a presales role
  • Good interpersonal and presentation/demonstration skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical prospects
  • Fluent Italian, Spanish or French and good English skills are mandatory. Other languages (e.g. German, Dutch) are a bonus.
  • Ideally some functional and industry knowledge (Traditional Portfolio and Work Management, Agile and Lean Portfolio Management or Value Stream Management, for example)
  • Experience of ALM solutions (like Jira, ADO, Rally,…) and agile certifications are a plus

W orking Conditions :

  • Home-based/remote working role.
  • Comfortable working in a web environment, i.e. the ability to be technically self-sufficient in preparing for and conducting product demonstrations
  • Occasional travel will be required to support on-site prospect and customer meetings
