Join the Project 54 team as a Social Media Manager (Intern) for the Stafford Film Festival and help us promote one of the United Kingdom’s most exciting and rapidly growing cultural events!
About the Role
As a Social Media Manager, you’ll play a key role in building excitement around the Stafford Film Festival. You’ll manage and grow our online presence across platforms, engage with our audience, and help us connect with filmmakers and film enthusiasts worldwide. Please be aware that this position is unpaid.
What You’ll Do
- Create, schedule, and publish content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), Threads, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Setup and manage a TikTok account
- Develop and implement social media campaigns to promote the festival and its key events.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Collaborate with the festival team to produce promotional materials, including videos, images, and infographics.
- Analyse social media performance and adjust strategies to maximise reach and engagement.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our platforms fresh and relevant.
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for films and storytelling.
- Familiarity with managing multiple social media platforms
- Creativity and a keen eye for visual content.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
- Fluent in English
