About The Role

The role we are offering includes a professional responsibility for Tax/VAT issues in all our present and new legal entities.

We are looking for an ambitious tax controller with experience from either working as a tax professional – either in a global corporate environment or as a consultant in a bigger consultant firm. We are mainly looking for someone with in depth knowledge of group taxation; if you have knowledge of transfer pricing and/or VAT that is an extra bonus. You should have a deep knowledge of the Swedish legislation for income taxation and also multiple years working practically with preparing income tax returns.

As well as having a strong attention to detail you also have to be able to see the bigger picture. You must be able to make well- grounded decisions in a fast paced environment and must be comfortable in having end to end ownership of complex international projects with many stakeholders.

You will report to the Group Tax Director and be part of an international team with 5 tax professionals in Sweden and Greece.

Responsibilities

• Play a significant role in the direct and indirect tax compliance and governance of the group
• Interact with consultants all over the world and monitor the Tax/VAT calculation process of each entity on a daily basis
• Prepare income tax returns for Swedish entities
• Interact with consultants all over the world and monitor the VAT and tax calculation process of each entity
• Coordinate and participate in connection with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
• Participate in statutory audits related to tax
• Participate in the internationalization process of the group – ie when we launch activities in new countries
• Participate in project-related to digitalization and automations of accounting and tax processes – in close collaboration with our Shared Service Center for Accounting and also our Finance-IT-team

Requirements

• BSc in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
• 5-7 years of working experience in the field of taxation, preferably in a multinational organization or an Audit/Consulting Services company
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in verbal and written English
• Strong at working with multiple stakeholders and prioritizing numerous concurrent projects
• Deep knowledge of income tax legislation
• Knowledge of transfer pricing
• Knowledge of VAT legislation
• Solid accounting knowledge
• Experience with handling large data volumes
• Proficiency and experience on MS Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
• Ability to prioritize well, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multinational team
• Creative problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement attitude
• IFRS knowledge is meritorious
• D365 knowledge is meritorious
