About the role

As Senior People Business Partner at Storytel you will be a strategic partner to managers globally in developing their employees to bring out excellence in each Storyteller. Your role will be extremely important in making sure that we have high performing teams that are constantly developing and challenging the status quo, and at the same time ensuring a great employee experience. We are an international company with colleagues in more than 20 countries and we are constantly aiming to attract, develop and retain the most talented people.

The role as a Senior People Business Partner will be a mix of both strategy and hands on work, bringing your HR expertise in all areas when supporting managers. At Storytel, we believe in questioning old truths, which in this role means that you will challenge traditional HR on a daily basis.

As our Senior People Business Partner you will be part of the Global People team, and work closely with the whole team as well as internal stakeholders across the world. You will be located in Stockholm and report to the Chief People Officer who is also located in Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

• Work proactively with managers in all people related processes
• Strategic partner to managers in business changes and succession planning
• Driving change when implementing Storytel’s People agenda
• Ensure that framework and tools are put into action, and follow up on results
• Driving projects in different areas such as leadership, work environment, DEIB
• Make sure we follow local labour law and compliance

Your profile

• Experience from similar role working in a global company, supporting managers in different countries
• Knowledge in swedish labour law + preferably some other countries
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

You have a high level of self leadership and collaborate well with others. You have strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. You also have an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and employees.
