Pearson VUE has ambitious plans to continue growing our business in the Middle East, therefore you will be responsible for identifying and driving opportunities to introduce our leading Computer-based Assessment (Testing) products & services to partner with client organisations. You will be an expert in building networks of industry contacts and prospective clients, maintaining your pipeline consistently and delivering new Sales throughout the region. You will take the time to understand clients’ business plans, objectives and aspirations, strategically offering them our leading technology solutions.
You will spend time identifying your own business leads, making calls and email contact to introduce yourself and our success to clients. You will also spend time visiting clients on-site and offering presentations tailored to each individual client organisation. You will also participate in demand-generation activities such as seminars, exhibitions and direct marketing as required. We expect you to meet, on average, 2-3 prospects per week.
You will work closely with internal departments as required to drive the preparation of proposals and responses to Tenders, taking overall responsibility for the quality of the response and ownership for key sales themes, solution design and description, internal and external partner selection and involvement, commercial and pricing related matters. You will follow our bid management process and collaborate with internal stakeholders to effectively close deals and agree solutions/commercial agreements etc.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, blending remote work with office-based collaboration. The role requires approximately 30% of working hours to be spent in-office to facilitate team interactions and engagements.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of proven success in solution selling, including multi-year contract sales, in the commercial sector.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated and independent, capable of working in a virtual team environment, and open to giving and receiving direction as needed.
- Tech-savvy.
- Familiar with working in and with virtual teams.
- Skilled in the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing contracts.
- Capable of leading sales campaigns and thriving under pressure.
- Experienced in consultative sales and adept at managing long sales cycles.
- Knowledgeable in both formal and informal tender processes.
- Comfortable with discussing and presenting tech-based solutions.
- Experienced in presenting to and engaging with senior management of potential clients.
- Driven by targets.
- Requirement to travel both within the region and internationally.

- Background in assessment and testing services.
- Familiarity and experience with government/public sector engagements
