Assignment description
Experienced UX strategist/Service Designer required:
The service designer empathizes with customers in order to identify and understand their problems and pain points, uncovering customer and business needs, and takes a holistic approach so that the entire service experience and all its touch points are designed with the user at the center. The work includes innovation in new services and solutions from idea generation to new ventures, thereby creating new business growth for the Volvo Group, and also improving existing services through a deeper understanding of behaviors and needs. A service designer works in the interface between design, engineering, and business development, and excels at facilitating workshops and creating value together with stakeholders and customers.
Candidate should be at a Senior level, and well versed in service design methods and best practices, as well as UX research.
UX Designer must demonstrate and perform UX activities in Product Team
Coach/Mentor product owners, scrum masters, and development team in User Centered Design ways of working, UX and interface guidelines, and building effective teams focused on delivering Business Value respecting user needs
Map out the strategy for UX activities within the team, including UX and UI design and unification across products within the defined business area
Lead workshops and sessions using Design Thinking methodology to instill user-centered insights to drive creativity and innovation
Drive overall UX maturity level in the product team and monitor usability performance of applications and services
Personal profile and competence:
Knowledge of Design Thinking methodology and activities
Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated eagerness to create, innovate and drive ideas forward
Ability to generate, express and present visual design concepts and prototypes • Methods such as business model design, value proposition canvas, customer journey and service blueprint
Ability to network with others, communicate, lead workshops, and present with ease
Like working in a fast-paced, multicultural and diverse environment
Humility, integrity and creativity
Master degree or equivalent (Art, Business, Design, Marketing)
Fluency in written and spoken English
Senior UX Strategist or Service Designer required.
Gothenburg location preferred. Remote work possible part of the time, but access to local team necessary.
