We are about to open our second office in Canada, and since sales have been CEO’s responsibility, we are looking for an ambitious B2B sales expert.
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic B2B SaaS sales and marketing expert with an extensive experience from growing the customer base of software companies, preferably with experience from other similar startups. The role is critical to our success and you will be responsible for growing our customer base internationally.
As a business developer, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Meet and exceed your sales targets
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients and negotiate pricing and closing deals with customers
Create a sales pipeline and carry out sales forecasts and analysis
Create and carry out promotional strategy and activities and plan sales/marketing campaigns
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation and arrange business meetings or other customer engagement activities
Understand the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
Develop our growth strategy focused on attracting new users and retention
Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world

You will work from home or in an office environment with a high level of freedom as long as you deliver results. You will work very close to the two founders with the aim to grow the user base as fast as possible.
