About the position
As Project Manager Business Solutions, you are working with complex projects involving our major customers. You support the organization with your expertise in identifying how to add the most value to every customer and project. In this position you will have a large network, both within GEODIS and with external contacts. You will work closely with our Sales team, to identify and build tailor-made solutions for our customers.
Key activities for this role include:
- Driving improvement projects and customer activities with existing customers.
- Contribute to developing new services by transforming customer specific solutions into generic solutions applicable on certain customer segments.
- Run tenders on a consultancy basis on behalf of our existing and potential customers.
- Support in tender processes by analyzing customer requirements and developing value propositions.
- Implementing new business contracts.
- Support the Business Development team to secure existing and gain new businesses.
- Assist the business with advanced Excel exercises, such as reports and analysis.
- Proactive involvement in the company’s top 20 customers.
This is a permanent position, starting according to agreement. You can be situated at any of our offices in Sweden. Travels within Sweden may be required occasionally. Business Solutions is part of our Business Development team, with about 40 employees. We are a great team that support each other and have a strong team spirit. In this position, being able to work cross-functionally and having a good understanding of logistic principles is essential. You have a post-secondary school degree within a relevant field and/or previous experience from working several years within freight forwarding or logistics, focusing on customer relations. It is a merit if you have experience and/or education within project management. The position requires advanced skills in Office 365, especially Excel. We are working in an international environment, why proficient communication skills in English and Swedish, written and spoken, is necessary.
