About the team

The Global Production team is the heart of our operation, ensuring that compelling stories reach our audience in the most engaging formats. Divided into Audio Production and Production Services, our team is responsible for everything from audio production coordination to managing translation, EPub creation, distribution, and vendor relationships. We are a cross-functional group that values collaboration, innovation, and the continuous improvement of our processes.

About the role

The Production Services Coordinator will belong to the Production Services team and play a central role in shaping the future of audiobook experiences at Storytel. Initially, this individual and the Production Services team will dive into various tasks across multiple areas, including EPub workflow establishment, AI voice production structuring, and participation in our research and development initiatives. The Production Services team focuses mainly on the production of non-audio content, primarily e-books. As the role progresses, it will evolve into a more focused coordination position, overseeing the smooth operation of non-audio production services. The ideal candidate is adaptable, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is passionate about innovating in the Digital Publishing and Production landscape.

What you will do

• In the initial months, contribute to a variety of projects in research and development efforts aimed at enhancing our product offerings and operational efficiencies. One example would be to build a process for the e-book production at Storytel and how we collaborate with external vendors.
• Transition into a coordination role, overseeing the workflows and project coordination within the Production Services department.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of workflows and procedures, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the department and company.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with vendors and partners, aligning with our mission to deliver exceptional content to our audience.

Who you are

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with an emphasis on timeliness and quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability and a keen interest in technology and digital trends in publishing and production.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, at a professional level.
• Experience in EPub creation, Distribution, AI technologies or related fields is highly advantageous.
