You’ll drive new features from conception to launch in close collaboration with stakeholders and engineers.We’re looking for a tech-savvy candidate with well-honed product instincts, who has successfully done similar work elsewhere, to become the fourth member of our Product Owner team.This position is primarily open to applicants who can work from our Stockholm, Sweden office. Flightradar24 offers a hybrid workplace model that mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees.What you’ll doLead cross-functional product development with focus on internal and external APIs. We are currently in the process of building an external API in order for business customers to programmatically retrieve Flightradar24 dataWork closely with the Commercial Services team to ensure that products meet the requirements and expectations of our business customersDrive development from the earliest discovery stages through design, development, test, release and measurement Define a clear vision for both internal and external APIs and communicate this vision with stakeholders and development teams. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned in this vision Engage closely with engineering teams to determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution scheduleOwn and prioritize the API development backlog, and communicate with stakeholders and developers to facilitate understanding and execution of product objectives.Along with the business team, create detailed requirements for API developmentEnsure that backlogs are refined and prioritizedUtilize and leverage data to help make informed product decisionsWho you are3+ years of product management / owner experience using agile software development methods.Experience from within the aviation industry is not a requirement but will be considered a big advantage due to the nature of the data the API will be providing. Candidates with aviation experience, especially within B2B are preferred.Experience leading teams that include remote members is preferredTechnical background is greatly desired with a strong interest in a wide range of technologies. Experience with APIs is a meritStrong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent English verbal and writing skills, Swedish is not a requirement for this role.
