As P&O Manager at Mars Multisales North Europe, you would be responsible for advising on HR policies and assisting with implementation of HR procedures and processes. You would work directly with the organization’s leadership to develop and direct an HR agenda that closely supports the organizational goals.
What are we looking for?
Master degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources
Five or more years of experience working in Human Resources
Strong communication, conflict management and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment, and own discrete areas of responsibility
Knowledge in applicable employment and labor relations regulations
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and working effectively with managers while managing competing projects and/or demanding clients
What will be your key responsibilities?
Coach and advise line managers and associates on various matters which may include but not limited to local policies and practices, performance improvement matters. Address any escalated issues as needed.
Build trusting relationship with line managers and associates to enable you to keep a ‘pulse’ on the business and drive efficiency across the P&O operating model.
Ensure excellence of execution and functional expertise with regards to core Mars people processes (e.g. Associate Engagement and Development, Onboarding, etc.)
Responsible for people policies, practices and procedures, and makes recommendations focused on improving consistency of associate experience, compliance, effectiveness of policies and capability of Line Managers and associates to apply them.
Deliver complex analyses of HR data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
Enable the attraction, development, and retention of talent at a sustainable cost
Ensure rewards strategy is well executed on site, following rewards recommendation, and legal framework, including benefits & pension plan questions follow-up and proper documentation if needed under the local legislation in close cooperation with Payroll Specialist and P&O Operations Specialist
Work with external advisors such as Deloitte and legal counsels to ensure best practices and compliance is adhered to as needed.
Support executional and project work relating to transformations and change management
Workday Process Transactions and Oversight for accurate pay, organizational set-up and internal movement, securing data quality through regular audits
