Operations Associate (Temp) – Schools

This is an entry-level hire for an immediate start on a 2 month temporary contract.

What you will do

Designing and delivering online solutions to schools is the most recent in a suite of successful business streams at Lanterna.

In this small but fast paced team, you will help to coordinate and facilitate amazing experiences for students and schools around the world. This involves the end-to-end delivery of our online IB teacher solutions for the global school base we support.

The day-to-day tasks will involve:

• Communicating with school leaders & teachers to help facilitate educational solutions for their students
• Managing online teaching sessions & refining delivery
• Recruiting and training online teachers to deliver impactful and high quality online learning
• Helping to design workshops that can assist students in all aspects of the IB
• And much more!

Job requirements

In order to be successful in this role you must have excellent organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail. We expect you to have strong problem solving skills when unexpected situations arise. You must have a high level of technical proficiency in video-conferencing technologies such as Zoom, be adept with Google Cloud and be confident in using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets. Candidates with great communication skills, and a bias to action will thrive in this role.

Throughout the role, you will be in close contact with other team members and customers. Therefore, we’re looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, who is positive, friendly, patient and professional.
