New Business Development Manager – LifeTech

In this role, you will develop our business opportunities for our Life Tech Nordics BU, based on both new and existing partner relationships. You will have a strong ability to run projects, both internally as well as towards partners where we see opportunities to grow our partnership. This role will be part of, and secretary in, the LifeTech Nordic Management Team. As such, this person will be a strong ambassador for governance and associated topics to ensure tasks are followed up, developed, and meet given deadlines. You will have an excellent understanding of IT as you will act as the link between the LifeTech Management Team and some of our internal IT related projects with high impact on our commercial footprint.

This is truly a unique role that will be suited to a natural team player with great drive and good communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Day to day:

  • Implement the Nordic business development plan, processes and procedures, support the development of global and regional business opportunities.
  • Initiate and build (long-term) relationships with prospective regional vendors and manage the vendor decision-making structure throughout the tendering process, in line with NBD plan and policies.
  • Develop project plans, manage project teams and participate in global project teams.
  • Be proactive within the Nordic governance model, and in that work to ensure overall deadlines are met.
  • Prepare, coordinate and support the partner/vendor credit application process aimed at approved applications.
  • Build, maintain and influence a network of stakeholders/partners and represent department, GBU and DLL to external stakeholders (e.g. vendors, dealers and partners), in line with business needs, policies and external developments.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance on KPI’s, provide regular insights regarding developments in the market.
  • Represent Life Tech in reconciliations with other internal departments relevant to the role, locally as well as internationally.

  • Proven Project Management experience – Project planning and team management throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Sales new business experience – Solution orientated, strategic planning, budgeting, negotiating contracts
  • Stakeholder leadership skills – Proven experience building (long term), developing and influencing a key stakeholder network both internally and external vendors/suppliers.
  • IT – Solid knowledge and IT applications (MS suite)
  • Languages – Swedish & English both writing and speaking
