MDM Governance Driver

What you will do
At Master Data Management (MDM) within Group Digital and IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
work as a MDM Governance Driver in a global context and will actively contribute in securing the end user, business and IT requirements for MDM solutions and support the full utilization of MDM capability. You will interact with business stakeholders regarding business requirements as well as technical experts from different MDM applications to understand and support proposed improvements and enhancements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context. You will work closely within Volvo Group TDBAGFs with Digital Product Managers (DPMs), Business Information Architects (BIAs), Capability Leads, Enterprise Architects and with technical specialists of Informatica (our MDM platform partner). Additionally you are responsible to:
- Maintain a MDM decision/governance body (or preparation for Heads of Data forum) for appointing MD Domain, MD Attribute, Reference Data, External Data
- Maintain MD Common Glossary (on behalf of Modeling Team)
- Coordinate (with TDBAGF responsible) Glossary for Shared and Proprietary Glossary
- Keep a decent level of understanding of where and how MD Attributes are created and maintained
- Responsible for Common MD attributes CRUD
- Coordinate with TDBAGF responsible for Shared and Proprietary
- Participating in creating and maintaining MD Strategy
- Drive a network for MD Domain BA’s, might include Domain Architects and relevant TDBAGF BIAs
- Enable Volvo’s CAST approach on MD Attributes (regardless of Common, Shared or Proprietary)
- Owning or maintaining artifacts in Master Data

Who are you?

- At least 10 years of experience in working for an IT delivery organization.
- At least 3-5 years of total experience working Master Data Governance
- Deep knowledge of MDM platforms from both end-user and development perspective.
- Ability to work in a complex environment.
- Focus on quality and effectiveness.
- Experience in collaboration with external suppliers.
- Good business understanding and proven ability to learn fast.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work remotely with good communication skills
