Would you like to work on legal matters in strategic procurement projects? We are looking for an in-house lawyer to our Group Procurement Legal Team in Stockholm.

About the job
Group Procurement is a group wide function supporting all SEB business units in vendor related activities.

The Group Procurement Legal Team works closely with our internal stakeholders to secure quality, mitigate risk and optimize costs when procuring products and services from external suppliers. In this role you will:

  • provide tailored advice on legal and contractual risks and risk mitigation;
  • draft and negotiate a wide range of procurement contracts;
  • stay up to date with regulatory developments;
  • develop and contribute to Group Procurement’s processes and tools, including updating and maintaining internal documents and contract templates;
  • work on insurance procurement/insurance-related matters; and
  • collaborate and align with other legal functions within the SEB Group.

Who are you?
We are looking for a high-performing legal counsel with a strong commercial background. To succeed in this role, you need excellent legal skills along with solid negotiation experience. Moreover, you are a team player with a good understanding of business in a broader context as well as the ability to take initiatives and pro-actively identify issues to propose solutions with a “can do” attitude.
A Swedish law degree is a prerequisite. We expect that you have gained around five years of relevant experience from a law firm and/or an in-house position. Your specific competence should be within negotiations and drafting of large and complex contracts. Experience from insurance law/insurance procurement is meriting. The position requires excellent communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English. You will be based in Arenastaden, Solna.
