Are you looking for new opportunities in a dynamic and commercial workplace at one of the world’s best truck manufacturers?Legal Counsel Scania ProcurementScania is currently looking for a new Legal Counsel to provide legal support to the procurement function. The procurement department at Scania is tasked with acquiring products and services for all of Scania’s global units, with the central procurement operations based in Södertälje. While the majority of our organization is located there, we also have a significant presence in various countries where Scania operates. In this role, you will work in a truly international setting, primarily based at Scania’s headquarters in Södertälje. You will be an integral part of our legal department, which comprises six legal counsels, two assistants and the general counsel. As Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in offering legal advice and conducting risk assessments for the procurement function. This entails offering support in diverse legal domains pertinent to a procurement organization, primarily centered around commercial contract law and general commercial law. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training sessions for purchasers. The role involves numerous points of contact worldwide and is both independent, varied and socially engaging.Is it you we are looking for?You have a Swedish law degree and/or have acquired relevant work experience in Sweden.You possess 3-5 years of relevant work experience either from a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel.You have a solid understanding of commercial contract law and general commercial law.Familiarity and experience within the legal domains of IP law, IT-law, maritime and transport law, construction law or other relevant are desirable, but not a requirement.Working languages are Swedish and English.
