The position is based in either Finland or Denmark, with flexibility for remote work and frequent travel to key account locations.


We are seeking Account Manager with channel management knowledge to join the international sales team at Kontron Europe GmbH. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Nordic sales partners and channels. This role requires a self-reliant professional with a proven record of accomplishment in account management preferably within the embedded systems industry.

Key Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tier one clients and sales partners in the Nordic region.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and sales partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and address customer concerns promptly.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for expanding market share.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market changes.
  • Sales and Revenue Targets:
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for assigned key accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive overall business success.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess a deep understanding of embedded systems and related technologies.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to clients and internal teams.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in key account management within the embedded systems industry or similar.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing tier one accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the Nordic market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed within the Nordic region.
