Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sub-category analysis and market research to maintain up-to-date sourcing knowledge.
- Negotiate and manage commercial contract terms in collaboration with the legal department.
- Lead competitive bidding processes (RFI, RFP) and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Support IT Security and Legal teams to ensure services and solutions comply with company standards.
- Oversee contract renewals and terminations, ensuring proactive management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms for DeLaval.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
- Coordinate sourcing initiatives with other industry groups (Tetra Pak, Sidel).
- Implement procurement strategies and update policies as needed.
Experience And Competence
To succeed in this role, you should have several years of IT sourcing and contracting experience, ideally within multinational organizations. You should demonstrate strong negotiation skills and be comfortable managing global projects and supplier relationships. Experience in IT outsourcing environments is a plus. You should also have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has strong experience in IT sourcing, including category management and change management.
- Can collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Has a proven ability to influence senior management and negotiate with global IT vendors.
- Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Is fluent in English and comfortable working in a global environment.

Additional Information
This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval’s headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. You will report to the Director of Global Indirect Sourcing. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely; however, employees are expected to be in the office at least three days per week.
