Payroll Analyst

In the role of Payroll Analyst in our team, you will be a key player to run payroll smoothly and compliant with the Swedish law. We are looking forward to meeting you!

Your contribution for a carbon-free future

As Payroll Analyst here with us, your main responsibility is to process payroll, complete audits, perform reconciliations and with payroll provider handle all daily operational activities. Among other things, this means that you will:

  • Analyze and validate payroll outputs (G2N/WTR Reports, pay slips, time data reports).
  • Support compliance related tasks related to payroll (make sure third-party payments/reporting is done as per legally required).
  • Maintain employee records, including voluntary and involuntary deductions.
  • Prepare regular payroll reports and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Work on stabilization/improving relationships with payroll vendor.
  • Maintain written procedures documenting compliance and processes.
  • In addition to your daily tasks, you will also contribute to finding gaps in processes and be involved in improving those processes.

    The role is placed in Västerås and with the option to work remote a few days per week.

    To be a good match for this role, we believe that you have great communication skills, have good knowledge of Swedish payroll law and are good at problem solving. You have experience in working with Swedish payroll and have intermediate understanding of payroll terms.

    We also believe that you thrive in an environment where you will be in the center of any payroll related questions from employees and is curious to learn more about Westinghouse!

    Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economic or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience working in a Swedish payroll environment
  • Experience with SAP and SuccesFactor is positive.
  • Intermediate understanding of payroll terms
  • Knowledge in Swedish payroll law
  • Great skills in Microsoft package, especially in Excel.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both speaking and written.
  • We also expect you to be able to maintain confidentiality and exhibit discretion on all matters.
