We at WeQuel are now looking for a Business Developer Controlling in Södertälje, where you will become an important part of the client’s Business Development and Strategy team within R&D, with a focus on financial governance, planning, and strategic decision-making. The role combines finance and controlling expertise with business development and strategic project management, working across organizational boundaries. You will also drive strategic initiatives that shape how the client’s R&D organization operates. The team works with functional strategies and ways of working, and supports and challenges R&D management in strategic and cross-functional questions. Your responsibilities: Clarifying and developing financial interfaces, roles, and responsibilities between the client’s R&D, group-level R&D, and other relevant units Driving strategic finance and controlling projects within R&D Improving financial planning, reporting, and follow-up processes Prioritizing the client’s brand R&D investments together with Commercial stakeholders Developing financial governance, management processes, and internal controls Analyzing financial data to identify key drivers, improve data quality, and increase transparency around financial performance Identifying and developing digital and AI-based solutions for financial processes and decision-making Coordinating financial activities for externally funded R&D projects, where applicable You will work in a complex, cross-functional environment where you independently drive initiatives forward while collaborating with stakeholders across the client’s organization and its parent group.
