This position is within Strategy & Program team within the department Exterior Systems, and our mission is to secure strategies within the department (functions, SW- and Electronics and vehicle hardware), program deliveries as well as support SW Integration & Release.
Within Exterior Department we develop everything related to exterior lighting, Wiper system, Washer/Cleaning systems and Rear-View Systems.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a System Architect who will operates mainly in the context of decided area and works with the Teams and provide technical trade-offs concerning systems, functions, modules, components and interfaces and secure deliveries in decided area.
Location:
The role is a full-time position based in Gothenburg, SE. You are expected to work from the office as we have an office first policy. [Remote working is not an option for this position]
What You’ll Do [Tasks]:
As a System Architect Exterior Systems, you will be part of an architecture team where you will drive & support evolution of next generation mechatronic and SW architecture. You will also support the development of future technologies, create prerequisites and enablers for our development teams, align needs with dependencies and stakeholders and much more!
Main responsibilities
- Be part of our Architect team and define need of enablers to support our product strategy
- Drive & support evolution of next generation electrical and SW architecture
- Support definition of systems, functions, modules, and interfaces for our products within the department
- Guide and support the development teams with the product technical roadmap
- Drive and support way of work initiatives within department and unit
- Be a contact person for the department when it comes to our information model and CarWeaver as a tool to support our development
What You’ll Bring [Required qualifications]:
You are a team player with great communication skills and a genuine interest in people & technology as well as having a strategic mindset. You have the ability to create and communicate a clear plan for your work, enjoy teamwork as well as work independently.
- Master of Science within Software development or mechatronic systems or equivalent documented experience
- Possess a solution-oriented mindset with a positive and can do attitude
- Proven abilities to gather and structure data and communicate to various stakeholders within the company
- Experience from system design and function development
- Knowledge in vehicle SW & Electrical Architecture
- Swedish Driver license B-level
And, if you bring these – Bonus [Meritorious]:
- Meritorious if experience from SW development
- Meritorious if experienced in CarWeaver tool
