Senior Android Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team and take ownership of developing high-quality native Android applications. You’ll work independently, collaborate with distributed teams, and provide technical guidance to other developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Design and implement solutions using MVVM architecture.
• Integrate REST APIs and work with JSON-based data.
• Monitor application health using logs and Crashlytics, with experience in Adobe Analytics.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
• Write robust unit tests, including edge cases, to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Understand business and technical requirements and deliver solutions independently.
• Lead and mentor developers working across remote/offshore locations.
• Work effectively within an Agile development environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and consuming JSON.
• Practical experience with logging, Crashlytics and application monitoring.
• Strong unit-testing experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Analytics.
• Exposure to CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Previous experience as a technical lead, mentoring or guiding distributed/offshore teams.
• Experience working with remote, geographically distributed development teams.
