Job Overview:

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Center Technician to join our team in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware installations, troubleshooting, and data center maintenance. This role requires hands-on expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform server, storage, and networking equipment installations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, cabling, and network connectivity issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of data center infrastructure.
  • Assist with rack and stack operations, including power distribution and cable management.
  • Work with remote teams to execute on-site support and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with data center security policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inventory, and incident reports.

  • Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in data center operations or a similar technical role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of server hardware, networking equipment, and structured cabling standards.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or other relevant industry certifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and network performance issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
