️ About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our team for an exciting new project: the development of a companion app for a Learning Management System (LMS) used by students in remote education.

As a Junior Data Analyst, you’ll play an important role in helping our Android and design team make data-informed decisions throughout the development of the app. This includes:

1. Analysing student usage patterns
2. Measuring engagement
3. Identifying areas for improvement in both the user experience and the platform’s effectiveness.

The position is remote, with the possibility of working from our Gothenburg office. We’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and organising data from multiple sources (including app usage and student feedback)
• Creating dashboards and visual reports to help track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyzing user behavior to support feature development and decision-making
• Assisting in defining metrics that help evaluate the app’s impact on learning outcomes
• Supporting the development team by providing data-backed recommendations
• Learning and applying data visualisation and reporting best practices
• Participating in team meetings, brainstorms, and planning sessions

Job Requirements

• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL 
• Basic knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio)  
• Experience with Python programming
• Experience with Python libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly, Jupyter, Pandas)
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, numbers, and simple reporting tasks  
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills  
• Good communication and presentation abilities
