Tasks

As a Senior ML Engineer at Garba, you’ll work closely with our founders, product team, and customers to design and deploy ML systems that power our AI agents. You’ll help us push the boundaries of what’s possible in sales automation by combining retrieval-augmented generation, language modeling, and real-time task execution.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and deployment of core ML models, particularly in NLP, agentic reasoning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate ML models into scalable production systems.
• Lead experimentation efforts to improve model performance, user outcomes, and system reliability.
• Drive technical decisions around model selection, training pipelines, and data architecture.
• Contribute to the broader ML roadmap, including data strategy, model monitoring, and continuous learning loops.

Requirements

Has 5+ years of experience building and deploying ML models in production.

Has deep expertise in NLP and experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Mistral, LLaMA, etc.).

Has strong Python skills and familiarity with libraries like PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar.

Has experience building agent-like systems, including task planning, execution, and context management.

Understands how to optimize for performance in real-world applications (latency, accuracy, robustness).

Thrives in fast-moving, collaborative startup environments.

Bonus: Experience with vector databases, orchestration tools like n8n, and sales-related datasets.
