What You’ll Do
Gyptech is seeking a Project Coordinator to develop and maintain a controlled system of incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation. Your role will involve:
- Assisting the Project Managers with administrative tasks and all project related activities
- Maintaining an up-to-date drawing transmittal registry and document control
- Assisting with and/or managing small projects
- Maintaining the project schedules
- Helping with the preparation of technical documents for commissioning as well as gathering of Operations & Maintenance manuals
- Assisting with the management of engineering and fabrication budgets
- Assisting with the preparation of invoicing and shipping values
- Helping to create project progress reports for senior management and customers
- Overseeing central master file and field office files for all incoming and outgoing documents.
- Interfacing with project team and clients and working effectively in a multi-disciplined team environment.
- Ensuring project document control standards and issued documentation meets the contract requirements.
- Supporting Project Managers with financial planning and preparing regular project budget reviews.
- Attending project meetings, as required, to create minutes and track action items.
- Other tasks and projects, as required.
This position will require regular international travel to our customer locations, both at their offices and operational sites, as well as occasional travel to other Gyptech offices. Primary work location is the office in Växjö, Sweden.
What You Offer
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and operations environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS Office, Infor Syteline or comparable ERP system, MS Project and AutoCAD LT.
- Basic familiarity with project management methodology within an engineering or construction environment.
- Proven track record dealing with issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to communicate complex information to all stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a strong sense of urgency to prioritize work assignments and multitask.
- Utilize strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy and extreme attention to detail is a must.
