Product Manager for Safety Classes Software

We are looking for a Product Mangager to oversee the development of of the safety related software development with the Appliance Platform team. The safety classed software needs to be compliant to legal standards and regulations and needs to pass certification processes. The development of the Safety software will involve OTA, SW architecture and more detailed documentation. They work will be a hybrib between Agile and Waterfall development due ot the nature of the certification process. It is our intention to push the limits here and be as agile as we can possibly be.

As Product Manager at Electrolux:
You will be part of the Digital Experience organisation
You will lead the work and collaboration internally, to be the go-to person for all Safety Related questions
You will plan the work and the development together with the team and stakeholders
You will lead part of a development team that develops the safety embedded software
You will lead the documentation work needed to get the safety related certification of the appliance done
You will lead developers who will develop the actual code
You will be hands on in testing and documentation work and lead the workshops

You have:
– You have experience in compliance work and have lead certification process before with great success
– You understand classic project management and agile development
– You have lead many requirement analyses, FMEA, design process and testing.
– You know what a tracability matrix is and how to make one
– You have extensive experience in Requirement Analysis and Software Design
– You have also been testing of lead testing and creating test reports
– You have experience from Automotive or Medical where it is important to manage certification and standards

A key success factor for this role is the ability to make many people go the same way and to be able to hold a large scope together.

Travel within Europe will be necessary a few times per year to be in our labs and to understand how other parts of the organization work.

Must Have.
5+ years of experience in leading end-to-end IT implementation projects. 5+ years’ experience in managing both technical development teams, aligning with Product owners and working with change management. Some kind of certification in project management such as PMI, Prince, Scrum Master etc. Experience from managing delivery in projects with both agile and waterfall approaches. Solution oriented and analytical way of working. Experience from working as project leader in global companies. Experience from leading projects with both internal and external parties involved. + Embedded Software + Experience from Requirement Management.
