How You Will Make An Impact

You will play an active role in ensuring our global team stays connected and protected. You will work with colleagues as part of your day-to-day actions to ensure technical issues are resolved in a timely manner. Your people skills will be essential as you assist employees with situations that they are unable to resolve on their own and are looking to you for assistance.

In your role as an IT Desktop Support Technician you will:

• Work Hands-on management of end-user hardware and software, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and life-cycle management.
• Provide 2nd level technical guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient incident response, addressing hardware, software, troubleshooting for hardware and network issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software, including operating systems and applications, to meet company standards and user needs.
• Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and other systems, ensuring proper access and security protocols are followed.
• Assist with managing IT inventory by tracking hardware and software assets, maintaining accurate records, documenting support activities, and generating reports to improve IT services.
• Lead and participate in local and global projects, contributing technical expertise and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Support a 24/7 manufacturing environment, ensuring IT systems are operational around the clock.

Required

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Information Technology or commensurate experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting Windows-based computers in an enterprise environment, including Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Working knowledge of Intune and Autopilot
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Preferred

• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information, and familiarity with ITIL methodology.
• Outstanding client services skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and initiative, with proactive follow-up and follow-through on tasks and assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
• Ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with customer contract requirements.
