What You’ll Do

• Write Great Code – Build high-performance apps with Java (our main tech), and .NET (a plus).
• Architect & Design – Lead architectural discussions, define scalable solutions, and ensure our systems are built for the future.
• Go All In on AWS – Use Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, S3, and more to keep things running smoothly.
• Build APIs That Matter – Create and maintain microservices that integrate with third-party systems.
• Make Things Faster – Optimize performance and scalability so our systems can handle anything we throw at them.
• Work Across Teams – Collaborate with other engineering teams to build cohesive, scalable solutions.
• Partner with the Business – Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technology solutions.
• Lock It Down – Follow security best practices to keep our data and services safe.
• Automate Everything – Work with our cloud engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Be a Team Player – Collaborate with product owners, developers, and cloud engineers to turn ideas into reality.
• Share Your Knowledge – Mentor junior devs, contribute to architectural decisions, and help define best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building real-world software.
• Strong expertise in Java (our primary language), with .NET experience as a plus.
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services – if you’ve worked with Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, or S3, we want to hear from you.
• Comfortable with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) and handling large amounts of data.
• Know your way around CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical teams.
• A problem-solving mindset – you see issues, you fix them.
