Working as a Product Manager (Payments)

Multiple Locations (Stockholm, Gothenburg, London, Munich)

In this role, you will join our high-performing software product management team and play a crucial role in sustaining and amplifying our global success. You will be responsible for excelling our product offering by managing and evolving the payments area. You will ensure that payment solutions interconnect efficiently, optimizing their use to provide the best possible user experience. Additionally, you will drive strategic initiatives, analyze opportunities, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of payments within our platform.

You Will Also

• Define and manage the roadmap for payments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
• Conduct opportunity analysis and pre-studies to prepare for investment decisions and prioritize initiatives in collaboration with the PM team.
• Responsible for writing and refining requirements according to set processes. Hold workshops and align with stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Owners, UX, Tech, Professional Services, and Product Marketing to ensure successful launches of new payment functionalities.
• Partner with UX to create a consumer-grade experience for employees and employers.

Who are you?

• You have several, 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the IT/software industry.
• Extensive experience in payment solutions either within a global payments platform company (Adyen or similar) or by integrating such solutions into a business platform.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, challenges, and compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of product management and agile processes.
• You have a great business, commercial & customer mindset and understand metrics, growth, usage, customer value, and profitability.
• Knowledge around new technology (cloud, AI, microservices, APIs etc) is valuable in the role.
• Fluent in English.

Desirable

• Experience with alternative payment methods, including invoicing, self-invoicing, salary deductions, and flexible budgets.
