Supply Network Quality (SNQ) is a global organization within GTP, responsible to drive the global supply network towards premium automotive quality standards. We secure the manufacturing capabilities, to assure the quality of purchased parts and to continuously develop the performance of the supply network base. We work with these matters both in sourcing, projects and operations, with a clear objective to provide excellent products to our end customers.

What will you do?
We are now looking for someone to take on the role as the Head of Autonomous, Safety and HMI within the Electronics, Electromechanics, Autonomous & Technology Specialists department.

In this role you are responsible for the quality performance of the respective Volvo Group supply chain partners in Europe, delivering to our plants around the world. You will also have an active role in driving continuous improvement and secure growth and personal development for your team. We are BUILT BY PEOPLE!

You will have full responsibility for all operational SNQ activities in Europe related to:

  • Human-machine interface controls and displays
  • Active and Passive safety components
  • Autonomous systems including full virtual driver devices
  • Et.al.
You will lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers mainly located in Sweden & France.

You will be a member of a SNQ Specialist management team and participate actively in the Buyer management team for your commodity to secure full purchasing alignment and engage in operational purchasing activities. We win and lose together!

Who are you?
We believe that you have a proven track record in a managerial role. You have a good understanding of quality assurance within the automotive industry. You have experience of transformation and development and always strive to deliver great products and value for our customers.

As you will interact with people both internally and externally, we believe you have a strong ability to build trustful cross-functional relations. You dare to take decisions, take ownership, and demonstrate accountability.

Ticket to ride:

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering
  • Knowledge in quality assurance for electronics production and software development in the automotive industry or similar.
  • Experience within engineering, purchasing, or manufacturing and of leading continuous improvement
  • Minimum three years of experience in leading people
  • Strong communicator with good verbal and written English
Travelling is required, mainly regionally in Europe but also overseas when/if needed.
