We are currently transforming Sinch HR, to be fit for purpose for the future. This includes the design of new global HR processes, implementation of new HR technology and improved ways of working, with the establishment of a Global HR Operations capability.

To strengthen the leadership of HR, we are now looking for a Head of Global HR Operations, an excellent opportunity to influence and shape the delivery of future HR services at Sinch.

Your Mission

As Head of Global HR Operations, you and your team will play a pivotal role in driving transformational change and building a strong HR service delivery capability, providing effective and excellent services to employees and managers across Sinch.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and leading the Sinch Global HR Operations, ensuring that our HR services are delivered through our future HR technology in a way that meets the needs of the business, while enhancing employee experience and maintaining cost-effectiveness. This will be done in close partnership with colleagues across Sinch.

You will report to the CHRO and be part of the global HR Leadership Team. This role is based at our Sinch HQ in Stockholm. We are also open to remote working in Sweden, with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities 

Design and build the Sinch Global HR Operations  

  • Develop responsibilities and tasks for HR Operations, in close collaboration with stakeholders. 
  • Design and build the optimal ways of working and organizational structure for the future HR Operations team.
  • Allocate resources effectively to support team priorities and objectives.
  • HR Operations ownership  

  • Be accountable for end-to-end delivery and performance of HR services delivered by HR Operations, making sure that the service meets company needs, is aligned with the Sinch Strategy and People Priorities, and complies with relevant regulations. 
  • Lead and own the design of the HR Service Delivery model that serves employees and managers in all Sinch locations across APAC, EMEA and Americas, liaising with stakeholders both within and outside of HR. 
  • Be a driver of new automation initiatives and changes to ways of working across HR Operations, with the goal to improve efficiency.
  • Continuously streamline, globalize and digitalize administrative and transactional HR processes through new technology solutions / AI and improve ways of working based on data and user feedback. 
  • Leadership 

  • Lead the Global HR Operations team and build a positive and inclusive team culture. 
  • Own and oversee the Global HR Operations budget. 
  • Be part of the global HR Leadership Team and actively contribute to the global Sinch HR strategy and priorities. 
  • About You

    On top of that, you:

  • Have significant experience of establishing and leading HR Operations / HR Shared Services in an international environment, preferably gained in a dynamic, matrix and change oriented global organization.
  • Are an experienced leader, having led people in different parts of the world.
  • Have experience from leading HR projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Have proven ability to lead and manage organizational transformation, including process improvements and organizational change.
  • Have a University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Fluency in English is required.
