Description and tasks

Are you passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning and development? We are seeking a talented and experienced Group Learning & Competence Manager to our newly expanded and modern headquarter in Högsbo, Gothenburg (Sweden).

As the Group Learning & Competence Manager you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive learning plans and programs within Bulten Group. You will work closely with stakeholders and HR colleagues to further develop Bulten Academy, design training paths and career plans for our employees. Additionally you will serving as the subject matter expert in learning and development matters, including Bultens Learning Management System (LMS). You will report to Senior Vice President HR & Sustainability of Bulten and the position requires business travelling.

Responsibilities

  • Developing group and functional learning courses/career paths and suggest training budget
  • Craft career plans
  • Based on current and future staffing needs develop and suggest training programs
  • Oversee group learning activities, curriculum and training resources
  • Monitor quarterly and annual training budgets
  • Suggest and implement short and long term plans to establish a culture of continuous learning
  • Recommend new training methods (including e-learning and game-based platforms)
  • Plans, coordinates and leads corporate initiatives as e.g. Leadership development programs
  • Participate and contribute to Bulten’s HR strategy work and implementation
  • Further develop and lead the activities in Bulten’s Academy. Support Competence owners to design and deliver learning curriculums
  • Identify, suggest and establish/manage relevant relationships with key Academic and Schools for long term strategic competence development. Participate in employment fairs, campus recruiting activities etc., presenting and promoting Bulten as employer of choice.
  • Follow up and validate the efficiency in the L&D system and processes, develop and suggests improvements

Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational development or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Solid experience organizing trainings and designing the educational curriculum; work experience as a L&D Director, Training Manager or similar role, in an international context
  • In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning and coaching)
  • Experienced in organizing Leadership development programs and training activities in an international context
  • Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting
  • Communicates in a clear, precise and structured way, presents effectively
  • Co-operates well with others, shares knowledge, experience and information, supports others in pursuit of team goals
  • Quickly understands and analyses complex issues and problems, comes up with sound and rationale judgements
  • Highly skilled in LMS systems and similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
