About the job
Alfa Laval’s Service business is a major growth driver for the company and in BU GPHE we have ambitious plans for the coming years, centered around becoming a true service company and leveraging our heat transfer competence to support our customers in reaching their strategic goals. Key to success will be to have an engaged team that is able to deliver a superior customer experience and to do this, to have the right leaders in the team is crucial.
In this role you will be part of the GPHE Service Management team and play an important role in turning Alfa Laval into the #1 Heat Transfer Service Company. You will be the manager of a team focusing on the parts business and your focus will be both on developing the global business according to the ambitious plans set out and to work closely with the delivery organizations to secure current and future capabilities to deliver. This requires close collaboration both with the Sales Companies and with central colleagues to secure long-term development and improvement.
Key responsibilities:

Contribute to the overall development of the GPHE Services business together with the management team in GPHE

Manage the Parts team in terms of people, activity planning/follow-up and budget.

Through close collaboration with the Sales Companies secure understanding of markets, customers and competitors related to the GPHE parts business as a base for driving short- and long-term improvement activities.

Development and continuous improvement of parts related offerings incl assortment management and pricing strategies.

In collaboration with the delivery organizations drive lead time and lead time accuracy improvements including implementation and follow-up of relevant customer centric KPIs

Secure that support to Sales Companies is given within the targeted timeframe and according to expected quality.
The position is based in Lund. Alfa Laval offers a hybrid work model, with the opportunity to work from home when it fits with your tasks. Travelling will be expected approximately 40-60 days a year.
What you know
You have a university degree in engineering or business. You have proven experience from Service business and/or Heat Exchanger business. You possess strong business acumen and have the ability to turn strategies into action while managing high complexity tasks. Previous managerial experience Is preferred. We trust you have excellent English skills both verbal and written.
