Your mission

Welcome to your new role at Sungrow, as our ESS Engineer in Stockholm, Copenhagen or Helsinki!

  • You’ll perform high quality technical advisory to help in pre-sales
  • You’ll manage projects across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, civil and control scheme)
  • You’ll do a first technical assessment of the project, evaluate its conceptual design and its economic feasibility
  • You’ll deliver suggestions for new ESS projects
  • You’ll integrate with other power generation plants as necessary
  • You’ll manage the tendering, negotiations, and selection of ESS plants
  • You’ll conduct due diligence including technical liaison with legal and financial advisors

Your profile

Do you have the legal right to work in Sweden, Denmark or Finland?

What will you need to be successful?

  • Fluency in both English and one Nordic language
  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent engineering degree with a focus on energy
  • Experience working with energy storage systems (batteries)

What can make you an ideal candidate?

  • Experience being a technical advisor and communicating with stakeholders (utilities, BoP, EPC, etc…)
  • In-depth knowledge of the international energy storage market, renewable generation utility network connection quality studies and PCS dynamic performance approval process
  • Languages skills in Chinese (Mandarin)
