For our client, an American leading producer of revolutionary battery cell inspection systems, we are looking for a Embedded Tester/Technician to work on a temporary assignment at a manufacturing site in Europe.
Your role is to:
- > Execute disassembly of lithium-ion cells in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures;
- > Prioritize a steadfast commitment to safety, adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and safe handling practices for hazardous materials;
- > Precisely disassemble lithium-ion cells, meticulously documenting each step of the teardown process;
- > Identify and record essential components of lithium-ion cells, such as electrodes, separators, electrolytes, and casing materials;
- > Thoroughly inspect cell components for defects, including gas bubbles, indentations, debris, tears, wrinkles, etc., and diligently record findings;
- > Collaborate with engineering and research teams to generate detailed reports on cell teardowns, offering analysis of component performance and potential failure modes;
- > Maintain a well-organized and clean workspace to minimize safety risks and optimize teardown efficiency;
- > Effectively communicate with team members to share insights, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the success of teardown projects.
Your skills and experiences:
- > Familiarity with electronics, batteries, electrical equipment, and machine shop tools;
- > Demonstrate the ability and confidence to work conscientiously in a customer factory, prioritizing safety;
- > Exhibit a team-player mentality, a can-do attitude, and the capability to work autonomously while understanding the critical role within a small team that contributes to the broader efficiency of multiple engineering disciplines;
- > Exhibit passion, curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills;
- > Embrace a bias towards action and an entrepreneurial spirit;
- > Demonstrate collaboration skills, capable of building consensus internally and externally;
- > Good English skills (B2).
