We are looking for several software engineers for a consultant assignment in Stockholm.Start: 2024-05-20 End: 2024-09-27 Remote work is allowed one day a week.

Job description:

The team owns, develops, and advocates our IDP (internal developer portal): Backstage. This means you’ll be part of:

• onboarding services, designing and developing features, custom plugins and integrations with 3rd party systems
• maintaining installation stable, secure, efficient, and up-to-date
• collaborating with stakeholders, including developers, architects, and infrastructure teams, to understand requirements, gather feedback, continuously improve Backstage, and support them in their onboarding and plugin development
• making code quality improvements

Required skills:

• Experience with the development of modern, cloud-based, containerized solutions
• Strong JavaScript skills coupled with experience in React and Node.js
• Experienced with: relational databases, RESTful APIs, GitHub
• Senior behavior, demonstrating leadership and empowerment towards peers, and strategic thinking about technology
• Comfortable in facilitating and participating in the team discussions and problem solving

Good to have:

• Experience with: Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools like Grafana or Splunk
• Proficiency in making code quality improvements and ensuring high standards in all development processes
• Collaborating with stakeholders, including developers, architects, and infrastructure teams, to understand requirements, gather feedback, and continuously improve the platform
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, YAML, Kubernetes, GraphQL, Terraform, automated code analysis tools
• Capability to support onboarding services and plugin development

Bonus for the extra

• Knowledge or experience of Developer Portals like Backstage, Cortex, Port, Compass.
• Azure certification
