Business Process Analyst – Plan to Produce

Our Plan to Produce-process is a core in this and we are now looking to strengthen it. Can you translate business processes into IT system requirements to ensure that the ERP and IT systems work in an optimal way for our business, then this is the role for you!

You will be part of Global ERP Improvement team and will work in close cooperation with colleagues from production, finance, procurement, architect team, integrated business planning and sustainability, among others. The team is based in Perstorp however your work will be in a global environment. The team is a key function in our digital transformation enabling Perstorp to become the leading sustainability solutions provider.

The main responsibilities are

  • Capture ideas and formalize requirements from the Plan to Produce (P2P) process owners and users
  • Support the whole progress from idea to implementation
  • Work with continuous improvements within the ERP related P2P processes
  • Act as business analyst in project activities affecting the P2P process and also be an active part of our transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA
  • Set the data requirements relevant for the P2P process
  • Be part of the ERP support team focusing on incidents and services related to the P2P area
  • Establish a good collaboration with supers users within the area
  • Support the work within the sustainability area related to the P2P process


  • Academic education at bachelor’s or master’s level. Relevant areas are for example system science, economics, logistics, chemistry, IT
  • Good knowledge of the production process, preferably within the chemical industry
  • Good knowledge of ERP and SAP
  • Knowledge in Data Governance and it’s principles
  • Good communication skills to translate business requirements into sustainable IT solutions
  • Fluent in Swedish and English required, other languages considered as a merit

As a person, you are driven and independent with the ability to take your own initiatives. Furthermore, you are responsive and have very good cooperation skills. You are an easy learner and quickly familiarize yourself with issues and challenges. You work structured and target oriented both as an individual and in a group.

Additional information

You will report to the ERP Improve manager who, according to colleagues, is a people-focused leader with a long history at Perstorp. She values seeing the holistic picture as well as she is happy discussing solutions on specific topics if needed. She is a strong advocate for business process development being a key in digital transformation.

Perstorp supports remote work 2-3 days a week and some travel is included in the role. The position is permanent with start as soon as possible. We will conduct interviews continuously during the application process.
