IMCD Nordic is now looking for a Business Developer to join our Nordic team
As our new Business Developer, you will be researching and identifying new customers in our Industrial Solutions Unit. You have B2B mindset are entrepreneurial, ambitious, and curious to learn new industries. You are eager to identify and qualify new customers.
Thanks to your entrepreneurial, proactive, digital skills, and attentive approach you will quickly learn how to collaborate with the Support/Technical team as well as Product/Sales Managers to ensure that our customers always get best-in-class service.
The focus of this position will be mainly the Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland). You will have your own customer responsibility, your main task will be driving growth and developing business within areas like Biogas, Battery applications, water treatment, industrial synthesis etc. In addition, you will drive our digital initiatives in the local market, engaging and ensuring best-in-class service on our web portal as well as in our internal systems. You will be communicating with your IMCD colleagues across the globe as well as with our suppliers.
We offer you a position in a flat and flexible organization with a lot of freedom to act. You will be based in our Swedish office in Malmoe, with the possibility to work from home as agreed with your manager and travel when needed.
You are preferably living in Sweden. This position requires travelling mainly within but occasionally also outside of the Nordics. You are perhaps in the start of your career – experience or degree in any of the above listed industries is beneficial. We are interested in finding a new team player with the right personality and a doer-attitude.
Your qualifications and skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English, other languages are beneficial
- Skilled with MS office and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Technical/chemical degree in biogas/battery/water treatment/synthesis
