Are you up for it?

We are now looking for a qualified mid-senior accounting expert with at least 5 years of experience in versatile accounting work, including monthly and annual closings as well as preparation of annual accounts, tax calculations as well as tax and income declarations to the Skatteverket and Bolagsverket.

To be suitable for the role, you should have a university education in Accounting Finance or Business Administration and be an certified chartered accountant. Preferible to have any official Chartered Accountant certification from FAR (Institute for the Accountancy Profession in Sweden)

We expect you to have an excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, a solid background with previous experience with different accounting systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. Especially meritorious is experience with systems such as Fortnox and Microsoft Business Central.We expect you to be fluent in both Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will be responsible for starting up in-house accounting and transitioning from previous consulting solutions. You will report directly to SALT´s CFO and Future Group´s Head of Accounting and Consolidation.

Your main tasks will be:

• Record daily financial transactions in the finance system and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Maintain the general ledger by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies

• Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment.
• Generate customer invoices, ensure accurate billing, and monitor receivables and follow up on payments
• Reconcile inter-company accounts, in collaboration with the respective counterpart.
• Post payroll journal (externally produced) and prepare payments.
• Provide financial insights to aid decision-making.

Prepare and file VAT tax returns and yearly income tax declaration in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
